I agree, but with some shades of grays. As a Mexican that I am, I fully support Effy “hecho en México” Escudero, since I read his tweet last night I spend some time thinking about the reasons to UFC cut him off. The two of his losses where compleatly circumstancials: a rear naked choke, comming from nowhere and just after a low blow (shit happens in MMA all the time… no excuses allowed!), but still good entertaining fight. So, whats the trigger for Effys departure, I thing, It is the weight issue. It is well known that Dana White hates when a fighter does not give the weight, and it’s understandable for the fairness of the game. So, from my perspective, the loss added by the weight factor results in a perception of lack of commitment, for the given level of competition UFC have.

Sadly “Hecho en México” have to fight back his way to UFC, I hope Bellator sign him in, they present a great 155 lb división, currently leaded by the great Eddy Alvarez, which will clash with Roger Huerta.

Greatings and fights
Jorge Gi Giorgio.
